The Role
We are seeking a maternity cover Marketplace Manager to join our team who will lead the growth of sales and profit on TikTok Shop and eBay. This position would be suited to a hard-working person who is entrepreneurial, has high attention to detail and who enjoys working in a fast paced, creative and collaborative environment.
What will your key responsibilities be?
● Manage the day to day growth of TikTok Shop and eBay
● Build a calendar of key trading events to support the sales plan for Marketplaces and maximise our sales opportunity
● Manage the budgets and forecasting sales targets for Marketplaces
● Report on sales, key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings
● Manage the planning, set up and execution of weekly TikTok Shop Lives; including scheduling of presenter/producer shifts
● Work with Marketing team to source and drive affiliate creator performance for TikTok Shop
● Take full ownership driving an active day-to-day trade plan and promotions, reacting to performance signals, proposing new promotional solutions and fresh approaches to increase sales and profit
● Manage the execution of the trade plan working with colleagues in the marketing team and external partners
● Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising on range availability and to identify product opportunities
● Leading trade meetings to review performance as well as looking ahead, identifying commercial opportunities to drive growth
● Responsible for all product content on marketplaces and overseeing our agency partner who manage product content
● Working with our customer service teams, partners and our warehouse teams to ensure that we meet all marketplace platform KPIs such as delivery on time, speed of response
● Build strong relationships with TikTok Shop and external agency partners
What are we looking for from you?
● Ideally currently working with a brand helping them growing sales on TikTok Shop or in a similar marketplace management role
● Hands-on, comfortable with the 'doing' - you'll be happy getting stuck-in to any task to drive growth
● Highly commercial with a strong focus on driving sales and profit
● Results focused with strong business acumen and a desire to deliver work of the highest quality
● Financially savvy - a whizz with numbers and reports, great attention to detail
