We are looking for a Junior Garment Technologist that has experience working across lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, lounge or beachwear.

What will your duties be as a Junior Garment Technologist?

  • Management of your own product areas
  • Attending and managing multiple weekly fit sessions on multiple sized models
  • Sending clear, concise and accurate fit comments in a timely manner
  • Working on products from buy, sample through to production
  • Liaising with supplies in the UK and abroad including the Far East
  • Working closely with the design and buying teams
  • Reviewing tech packs with designers to asses material and construction requirements
  • Managing Sealing Samples
  • Measuring samples and reviewing the grading
  • Reviewing test reports and ensuring all products comply with UK REACH legislation
  • Liaising with the warehouse QC department on bulk inspections
  • Reviewing returns reports and follow up where action is required
  • Ensuring that our high fit and quality standards are maintained

What are we looking for in you?

  • Educated to Degree level (Contour Fashion would be an advantage)
  • At least 1-3 years' experience with either a retailer or supplier across lingerie, nightwear and swimwear product categories
  • Have knowledge of bra and clothing construction and manufacturing techniques
  • Factory experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Managing samples
  • Proactive and enjoy problem solving
  • Ability to multi task and maintain focus when under pressure
  • Have good organisational skills
  • A confident communicator at all levels
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
