What is the role?

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Inspector to join our team based in Crewe. This position would be suited to a hard-working individual who obtains great attention to detail, great organisational skills and positive working attitude. As a Junior Quality Controller you will display and maintain clear communication paths with the QC, Goods in, Wholesale, Bookings, Return and Fulfilment departments as and when necessary.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Conduct the Platinum Seal quality check on all incoming deliveries of Nightwear, Loungewear, Swimwear, Lingerie & Accessories. An approved Gold Seal is provided for reference.
  • To communicate and ensure warehouse staff and merchandising teams are aware of styles approved for allocation and update all required documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with Garment Technologists.
  • Raising any issues with the wider team and ensuring suitable solutions are met.
  • Managing cost recoveries associated with the delivery of faulty stock.
  • Monitor quality issues highlighted in the Blue faulty reports from both stores and web and advise head office.
  • Auditing faulty stock returned from stores and web.
  • Putting away stock after Platinum Sealing/ Inspection.
  • Uplift the stock from locations when necessary.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed according to the priority sheet.
  • Support the warehouse staff when necessary.
