What is the role?

We are seeking an Ecommerce Trade Manager to join our  team. This position would be suited to a hard working person who has high attention to detail, great organisational skills and who is looking to expand their eCommerce experience in a creative and collaborative environment.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Build Trade calendar of trading events to meet the needs of the market and maximise sales opportunity (UK and International Markets)
  • Manage the planning process of sale budgets by Product Departments and Categories
  • Report on sales, key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings
  • Take full ownership of active day-to-day trade plan and promotions, reacting to performance signals, proposing new promotional solutions and fresh approaches
  • Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising on range availability and to identify product opportunities, as well as CRM and Performance Marketing to support traffic driving activities, with a focus on improving CVR and profitability.
  • Leading trade meetings to review performance as well as looking ahead, identifying commercial opportunities to leverage growth and deliver digital KPIs
  • Ownership of site optimization to drive cross selling to increase UPT and AOV 
  • Deliver profit growth through marketing channels and main site KPIs
  • Use data to work with cross-functional stakeholders to guide and influence future focus & commercial opportunities, including but not limited to: Multi-variant testing, SEO, Localization, Product Opportunities and Website Development in line with target segment & business strategy
  • Ensure seamless customer journey on all sites
  • Working with Senior Change Manager to define requirements for business tool to support on-site optimisation
  • Support the development of the personalization strategy to balance customer experience with local commercial opportunities
  • Deliver best in class on-site visual merchandising and customer experience
  • Leading and developing a highly motivated and talented team

What are we looking for from you?

  • Previous experience in a similar Trade management role
  • Be able to think outside the box
  • Results focused with strong business acumen and a desire to deliver work of the highest quality
  • Financially savvy - a whizz with numbers and reports, great attention to detail. Amazing Excel/Google sheets skills and ability to create reports
  • Amazing interpersonal skills - you'll have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the business in what is a very exciting time
  • A Self-starter, highly motivated, proactive and positive attitude. Forward thinker who can drive ideas forward
  • Hands-on, comfortable with the 'doing' - you'll be happy getting stuck-in to any task

  • Ability to work simultaneously with multiple teams in different locations and different time zones 
  • Previously working with onsite optimization tools including analytics, testing, content management (GA4, Salesforce, DynamicYields, Content Square, BazzarVoice)
  • A team player not afraid to get stuck in
